i try to get on during the week around 6:30pm central time. then come back around 9pm central  for another dip. on weekends in and out most of day and late into the night.

Had a nice chat with W6PSS, Dave and AB9NQ, Masa last night on 7290 and 7285 kHz (we moved when a SW BC station came on).

You had a good sig at a solid 57, QRN here was up but your audio was solid.

I need to get a little more umph out of the old Yaesu FT-401B.

I need to go through and do an alignment on the radio. When I got it, it came with the infamous "11 meter" crystals. I'm sure a "tech" did a bang up job of getting it to swing on the Chicken Band.  Roll Eyes

But, Dayton is this weekend so it'll have to wait!
