I am moving to a smaller house and downsizing my radio shack.

For sale:

Plate modulated amplifier that uses a pair of GS-35b's. Also works as a linear amplifier. Coils for 160 meters and 80 meters:

AM: 40 watts rf input => 375 watts carrier output with the variac adjusted to produce 1700 volts on the finals @ 300 ma. Heising modulation using a QSC RMX1450 700W power amplifier (purchased new/like new) + a Peter Dahl 50H, 0.5A Heising choke (purchased new/like new). The modulation transformer is an Antec 1kW (power rating) toroidal step up transfromer... to match 8 ohms to 5000 ohms.

Linear operation: full legal imit output (without any flattening) with the variac adjusted to produce 3000 volts on the finals.

Includes: RF deck, power supply/bias deck, meter panel with 4 meters, plate transformer, Heising choke, Antec step-up /  modulation transformer, QSC RMX 1450 amplifier, 240V variac, wooden rack cabinet, spare GS-35b, 8 spare 900uF 450V capacitors,  DPDT antenna relay.

Sell for much less than the original cost of parts: $1500.00. Pick-up only in Bernardsville NJ.
