Rick & "Roosevelt"

While tuning around with the HQ 110, I heard tonight at roughly 9:00 to :05 PM EST what sounded like ZRF.   Freq. was approx. 3705.

Well, after asking the aether what various audio settings sounded like, the voice ID'd as ZRF.

uh, nice I guess.
Very good recording.
Thanks for the lift.

Maybe he's in the HQ-110. Like that TV show "My Mother, the Car".

Radio just isn't the same without ZRF.

Y'all have given me an idea.

I'm gonna put some Dave® in my radio.
( like it's an active ingredient of some kind; a flavoring agent, a wasabe extract)

There's a bunch of aircheck material kicking around, and it ought to be easy to catch a handover where he says MY calls.  Eureka!  Instant celebrity ID  !!!

Listen for it soon.

Boy I don't know Paul, once might have been enough to hear such on the air.  I think I 'd seek 'permission' or somesuch. Uh, you know.

Could be a little shocking, you're right, just to have him materialize out of thin air.

Then again, it'd be like him.

Distinctive enough voice, that's for sure.

Alright, tnx

I like it! ! !  I want some. My radio has been a little bland lately.
And.....err.... furthermore....... The WFDN is just not the same without some Dave in it....................

Yea, Ralph-W3GL tries, but he just does not sound like Dave.  Must be the microphone or the PTT switch  Wink
