In all the old TX tube spec sheets they end by saying:

"Refer to sheet Trans. Tubes Versus Frequency."

Does anyone have that sheet or is this just a myth??

Look in the "application tables" of the RCA TT-4 starting on page 88, (and maybe in the TT-3 as well?). In the RF section the max input at full power is shown. Those books are on bunkerofdoom.com and elsewhere.

I have those in originals but it still leaves gaping holes. I suspect its in that multiple volume set of RCA engineering data that I have boxed in the attic, maybe 20 pounds of it

I wonder if it is in the HB-3? that multi-volume set.

If you got that secret stuff boxed up, time to get it out and scan it!

The HB-3 set is akin to a full set of Riders, page-for-page scan-wise.

A herculean task better left to those with nothing else to do, us hams are too busy.

The HB-3 stuff is available from various places on the web unless you like re-inventing the wheel and have no life and lots of idle time.

I am posting what I think you are looking for Carl.

One pdf is from RCA HB3, 7 pages, 1953 - 54.

The other pdf is from RCA TT3 1938.  Being older than the HB3 pages, there are less tubes, but one interesting difference is the resonant frequency column.

All that info has been on this site, http://www.tubebooks.org/hb-3_tube_manual.htm for quite some time. Scroll down to transmitting tube section.

Attached is the 1963 HB-3 version of the Tubes vs. Frequency information from tubebooks.org .

RCA pared it down to 3 pages, 10 years later than my 7 page scan from my HB-3.

For example, the 6146 is in my 1953/1954 sheets but not in the 1963 version.
