Pierre K9EYE of Crystal Lake, IL wants to try his hand at building a low power (5 to 10) watt 40 meter solid state transmitter.  Pierre lost his sight many years ago but noted on the AM net this morning that he really wants to make some contacts with a transmitter he built himself.

Simplicity is important for this first project!  If anyone has a tested design Pierre would love to hear from you at K9EYE@arrl.net  or pass it along to me and I will get in touch with Pierre.

Thanks in advance for any help.  Pierre is a very active ham and spends most of his time on AM.  Several years ago I built a little switch box so he could easily select different crystals without help and I was overwhelmed by his appreciation for building this simple box.  If anyone can help Pierre out with a schematic it will make him very happy.
