I am putting Tim`s Raytheon 250 watt transmitter up for sale. I have the user manual to go with it, and I am asking $800.00 for it, even though we have a little more than that invested in it.

Whoever buys this needs to know that this is a HUGE piece of equipment and will take either specialized equipment or LOTS of manpower to get it out of our garage. According to the manual, it does break down into 4 separate pieces for easier transport but my guess is that it hasn`t been apart for a very long time.

"Uncle Ray", as Tim fondly referred to it, is still wrapped and sitting on the pallet that it came on, all ready for transport to its new home. I don`t know much more about it but I will do my best to answer any questions anyone might have.

PM me if interested.

At some point, probably not until after the holidays, I will be offering the rest of Tim`s equipment as well, but it must be sorted out.   I`ll list it here first.

FYI, former owners were Fred KC4MOP and Jay N3WWL.  And there's a youtube video of it in action when Fred had it http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=grgLXWdd9GA

I just listed this on Craigslist and will consider reasonable offers, just in case anyone here might still be interested.
