Hi ALL

As of the last IARU conference there has been a significant change of band-plan allocation for SIMPLEX FM mode users on the 10 meter band.

This applies to Region 1 Ops......

Gone is 29500-29550 + 29600-29650 kHz.

This has now been replaced with 29100-29200 kHz.
You may go up to 29300 but you will be sharing with 'other modes' in this allocation including AM.

A recommendation for all Region 1 10 Meter users is to avoid 29300 to 29510 kHz as this is for satellite downlink use only.

It's odd that he talks about a "significant change for simplex FM users" when the removal of the allocation between 29.510 and 29.550 will also clean out 4 repeater input frequencies as well as their associated output frequencies. Is it just me or did this change slip under the radar?
