I bought this DX-60A several years ago and have been reconditioning it ever since.  Now it's in the way.  I got it working enough to pass the lightbulb load test with flying/frying colors.  Smoke.  The RF choke in the grid of the driver over-heated.  I suspect because I didn't know how to tune it.  I think I may have screwed up the neutralizing stub which may have made matters worse because the grid drive to the final would rise and fall and couldn't be stabilized.  I replaced the 18K resistor (which actually read 23K), the RF choke and the .005 bypass with new parts.  I'm ready to pass it on without testing it further.  Regardless the cabinet is a 9 out of 10.  The chassis has some corrosion spots which I buffed.  The only mod was the IEC power jack.  $200.00 includes shipping conus.  Firm.  It's worth it.  I have a DX-60B matched set that is already on the air so this is surplus mainly because this is green and my matched set is blue.  Imagine a blue Heathkit set.  Changes happen.  Roll Eyes
