ASHART asked:

"Good day, OMs

As I continue to work on my new HRO-60, I'm having some trouble understanding the intracacies of bits and pieces of the circuitry, especially in the limiter/detector area.

I'm wondering whether there was ever any technical information available - on the circuitry, performance specifications, etc., other than that in the owner's manual.

I'd be happy to buy any such thing as a service manual, engineering notes "liberated" from National Co., Sam's or Ryder's folders, or the like.

Thanks for your comments es 73."

Al,  Order Electic Radio numbers:

247  HRO 60 PART1 A vintage product review
248  HRO 60 PART2
228 A product detector for the HRO 60
261 A portable storage box for HRO coils

I hope these issues help your quest for more information!

#247 and 248 are full of a lot of misinformation and pure BS. Some was corrected in 248 but since the author and ER owner are the same .....you get the picture?

Peer review doesnt happen unless you are one of the selected butt sniffers. Roll Eyes

You would need to read them first and then we can get into details at Nearfest Grin

Drift and TC was one sore point but Id have to dig out the ER's to get specific. I'll look tonight when I have time.
