Monitoring 7.290 at the moment... called CQ and had a nice local chat with Mel WD5CAE about 17 miles from me.... now the band is stretching so anyone out there?

Lightning map showed clear, except for down south, but bands still noisy.  Didn't even bother to warm up the filaments.

Aww maybe the weekend will be better... Hope to get up on 80 meters then, but 40 is still a good alternative.

Yeah, I'm hearing a BC now slowly building below everyone.  The static crashes are getting more and more intense. 

It was nice to work you Carl. KB3RDT, the Viking II and NC-300 is the same station I have but couldn't quite get tuned up tonight. 

Lane, I think I'll get your new callsign sorted out now. Smiley  N8AFT, It's got a nice sound to it.

Pete, WA2CWA, your dropping in was a nice surprise.  The FLEX was doing FB but the noise floor was swallowing you at times as it was for me on your end.
