I got it with a trailer of other stuff a while back and most things worked. Anyone have any idea what it would be? Has a strange meter on it that says cyclotron specialties but don't really see any other model number or manufacturer. has a row of 6al5 and 6sl7gt tubes in it.

man those pics are terrible that meter on the left is a volt meter and that big knob is a big variable resistor.

I got a bunch of information on particle accelerators and such when I searched cyclotron. I was thinking it looked like a great chassis to use for a project I guess maybe I should keep it as it is. I hope to find out more about this particular piece. For the time I'll set it on the shelf unless it's worth something significant

make sure it has not been 'activated'? John K5PRO mentioned something about that to me as a caution about things that have been used for such purposes. Apparently items struck by stray beams can become radioactive. I don't know anything more but it sort of gives surplus-hunting a new aspect.
