I hear two very weak carriers with much less than 100% modulation...

The carriers would be an S-2/3 with QSB here... Huh Roll Eyes

Crank up the AUDIO!

For those who wonder if 20mtrs and AM are as John relates..let me just say.."Oh Yah!"....tnx John for the FB qso last evening..lasting well over 15mins commencing at 2200 UTC on 14.328..Johns sigs were well over S9 at times..on my end there has been a horrendous QRM noise for over a week now running between S3 to S9..nasty motorboat effect with static crashes thrown in happening day and nite..I hate to think it's a "usual" summertime thing..there were a few Italians in there but because of the noise it was impossible to pull out a signal..I ran solid state but the BA equiptment is ready to go almost..re-wiring the VF-1 for either the HT-40 or DX-40..75A2A will be the rcvr
It sure was a "hoot" to connect with John on yet another band..guys 'n gals John knows his stuff and puts out a potent signal as always..here's hopeing 14.330 give or take will be the place to be for fun AMing
                                                                                        73 John..you know I'll be there looking!...de DAVE

Well that was fun.

I was mobile in Asbury Park, NJ this evening and I was tuning around 20 meters while parked by the ocean.  John, G3YPZ was calling CQ on 14.328 AM. John was running 25 watts and I was running 40 watts from my mobile but we were able to carry on a QSO without too much difficulty.  Nice to work you John.

The band was in good shape so I switched over to sideband and worked a bunch stations from all over Europe as well as 9K2VO in Kuwait.  One of the Europeans I worked was F4GFZ who was also mobile in the Rhone-Alpes region of France.  http://www.qrz.com/db/f4gfz

Yah for sure Sam..I also worked John yet agn ystdy..an even longer "Q" at or about 2200 UTC..as predicted he rose in sig strength peaking at 2230 UTC..same freq Sam..14.328..I think he mentioned a "gig" tonite where he plays in a band there..so Sunday evening is gonna be another go at it on AM..surely for me a great and pleasant surprise as we go back a couple decades primarily on my favorite the 10mtr 29mhz section..no need for the hi pwr as we both run less than 100watts..no surprise ya bagged him and FYI he has found a home there where he will be heard calling CQ..maybe catch ya on too Sam..73 de DAVE
