Spring cleaning:  Any and all items can be delivered to NEAR-fest IX at the end of this month.

***SOLD***Collins KWS-1, serial # 1563.  This is a late model, high serial number Tx, with all of the SB’s factory installed.  Rig is complete and in running condition, no mods, all original, 4:1 knob, lock-key switch.  Original Aemco 110 VDC T/R relay included.  500 – 600W out depending on band.  Front panel in great condition, top cover shows some wear.  Pedestal in very good condition; 3B28’s in HV rectifier.  Includes original instruction manual.   $2300.00

***SOLD***Collins KWS-1, serial # 932.  Complete and in working condition, original elbow on PA air inlet is missing.  Most SB’s done, except the lock key and plate XFMR baffle.   HV rectifier is the Sarkes-Tarzian solid state conversion; works perfectly.  Refurb work done on the pedestal/ PS: new blower bearings, some electrolytic and paper cap replacement.   RF deck is original and unmodified, does NOT have 4:1 knob.  Includes 110 VDC T/R relay and original instruction manual.   500 – 600W Out depending on band.  Front panel in OK condition. Cabinet and Pedestal could both use an overspray of St. James. Some previous owner used incorrect paint to cover scratches on the side of the cabinet   $1850.00

***SOLD***NC-300 receiver w/ XCU-300 calibrator, excellent shape.  Paper and electrolytic caps replaced, BFO, audio driver, audio output, and AGC all updated to NC-303 level.  Front panel and cabinet in very good condx, a few minor scratches & scuffs.  The original instruction manual was personally autographed for me by Ed Harrington, W1JEL, who designed this radio.  See Electric Radio # 13 (August 1990) , and CQ for May 2001.  $250.00

***SOLD***Collins 75A-1 Receiver. Serial # 1964.  This is the actual receiver tested by Ray Osterwald in his six part Electric Radio series on the Collins 75A, see ER # 40  (Oct 1992).  All paper & electrolytic caps replaced.  Clean cabinet and front panel.  $350.00

I would consider a fully loaded Drake R7/R7A as a partial trade for one of the KWS-1’s, or an Elecraft K3.  The KWS-1’s are pick-up only, prefer not to ship the other radios unless absolutely necessary.

Thanks for looking, drop me a note directly if you are interested. Photos are available.
