Use an "AM Courtesy Filter" to limit transmit audio bandwidth  +-4.5 KHz, +-6.0 KHz or +-8.0 KHz when needed.  Easily done in DSP.

I'd like nothing better (just so long as it's no more than 6' off the ground!), but I don't know at this point whether I'll make it or not.
