This transmitter was working until very recently. Audio stages had been cleaned up. Rig modified to 813 final (modulated by a pair of 809s or 811s). Power supply let go (I think it was caused by a grid to cathode short in one of the modulator tubes) don't know it took out the power transformer, filter caps, or both). The rig is a noble old beast, looking for a new home with someone who can trouble-shoot the ps. I don't have the time or the resources to do it. Whoever does it will be richly rewarded. I'll be very sorry to see her go, but the rig deserves a new lease on life. Make any reasonable offer, come and scoop it, and it's yours. Location: Western Massachusetts. PS. If, on the other hand, someone feels motivated to take on the job of rebuilding the power supply for me for a fee, that's fine, too.

Globe Champ has come in for a landing. Thanks for your interest!
