A month or so ago I was fortunate to obtain a very nice Apache (in fact, two of them!) from the estate of a Syracuse, NY SK. In the past week I finally got around to firing it up and was very happy to see it worked quite well, indeed. The former owner had meticulously documented all the mods he had made, principally installing PTT and a complete audio system work-over as per W2ICQ's time tested mods. LARGE UTC S-8 driver xfmr and everything else makes this sound like a winner.  The B+ is a bit low, hence I am in the process of obtaining two new 5R4GY's, which I suspect are the problem. Appearance excellent all around. Only problem is, I cannot ship this baby, anyone who has worked on an Apache knows why. Pick up in Northern NJ, or we can meet somewhere for gas $4.   $250 or closest reasonable offer.
Pse call at 908 - 362 - 8502, or use reply function and give me your e-mail in body of reply, my e-mail server can't seem to reply to AM fone e-mails!
