 Grin Cool Shocked  BEAUTIFUL

I'm nearing completion of my share of restoration on a DX-60A.  I say "my share" because the previous owner replaced at least one filter cap and did some cleaning.  I'm finishing with the cleaning part and replaced a really-klubby kludge that replaced the fused plug with a 3-wire abortion.  I in turn replaced that with a standard IEC jack.  It has an SO-239 output which might have been original.

I fired it up with a variac over a day or so and the PS puts out 700 volts solid, no load.  Even used it to reform a dozen old electrolytics or so.  No sweat.

Cabinet has the original paint, has very few wear marks and is the only thing I don't intend to restore.  Give it a 9.3 out of 10.

I intend to finish the cleaning/testing shortly and am basically trolling for anyone who wants to follow the last of the work and might be willing to buy it.  I have a "B" along with the matching VFO and HR-10B in nearly mint condx soon to be on the air (I hope) on 3885 so this is surplus.  I won't take less than $285.00 plus shipping.  Yes it's that nice.  Best offers.

Why am I selling?  Paint colors don't match the rest of the set!

Email me at W9ZSL@yahoo.com if you are interested.  Will send pix as I make the final progress and we can talk.  73
