Was listening on 75 the other afternoon when I came across a QSO talking about a great source of transformers (audio and power). I've been looking for some 50A bridge rectifers so I sent the station an e-mail to find out more about this company. It turn out they are in N Arlington, NJ, about 5 miles from where I live. Stopped by today and found the rectifers I needed at $2.50 ea

This small company imports dozens of power and audio transformers from China. The owners brother-in-law own the manufacturing facility, so the cost is very reasonable. His prices are very reasonable and from the on line feedback I've read the quality is quite good. Many of you guys are building transmitters, and these days good iron is hard to find. If the web site does not have what you are looking for, contact them.
