CW is just a narrower version of AM

This was a funny exchange that was picked up by the One tube Morgan regen a few minutes ago. I happened to have my old Marantz PMD 220 hooked up via a matching transformer. I simply wanted to record something from the little devil.

Of course this is 75M at 9PM and what came out of the headphones was priceless...

The Regen went to Poland tonight Al.

I hooked up the Paraset and stuck in a 3510 rock and sent two QRZ's.

FRANCISZEK GORSKI, SP9FV
UL. NARCIARSKA 44
PL - 43-310 BIELSKO BIALA,
POLAND

Came back and gave me a 579.

Not bad for 5 Watts on a 6V6 into an end fed half wave. He was 589 into the Regen receiver.

My heavens 80M is hot tonight.
