I was doing some cleaning on the feed thru insulators offa my 810 mod deck, got em nice and clean,
and put them in a corel bowl on dining room table. get call from wifey (I'm down at my dad's place) asking me how important they were.

That's a Bad QuestionEmbarrassed

She dumped em all on the floor with her wallet when she thumped it down precisely where the insulators were. Not her fault, mine for not putting them away in a safe place.

5 of them; tops and bottoms.  they all broke save one.  Cry

I mourn their death.

Frank, I dont think so, she credits the radios with saving my life by keeping me interested enough in life to get me through. She'd never do anything like that. her opinion on AM and radio is quite high. It kept her husband alive.
