I just came in from the shack and it is 8:35 PM here, and I am amazed at how quite the band is tonight.  I have been resurrecting an orphan NC 183D and am busy painting the case and reassembling after a long electrical rebuild.

On 3.880 was K9ACT with a very good signal talking to others.  I didn't get the other calls but John's signal was really up there without the attendant static from storms we normally have this time of year.   This may be our last night of relative quite.  160 was clear as well, so tonight will probably be a good night for it too.
