Dunno, there's usually a few regulars every later afternoon.  At 6;30 the frequency turns into a pumpkin due to some Canadian net meeting there every day.

I generally don't have time to get on in the late afternoon during the week, but I'll prolly be on Sat from the mountain/lake QTH in Western Maryland.

Tom,
the main anchors for the "whatz fa dinnah" net on 3.733 are Bill (W3DUQ) and Ralph (W3GL). Ralph's antenner is down and Bill has been "deer watching" lately. So there is little or no activity there during the week. Howevah, a bunch of us usually show up there on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evenings somewhere around 4:30-5:00 pm. It usually is fast paced break-in operation and a lot of fun. I look forward to it on weekends. (During the week I usually dont get home in time)

We have to vacate the frequency at 6:30 as we share it with a Canadian SSB group that have been good to get along with. We usually slide down some and keep it going for a while longer.

I've listened in a few times recently too and heard SSB contacts taking place on 33 around 5:30-6. Maybe it's a good time to move up or down the band a bit to a frequency that doesn't require going off the air or moving at 6 or 6:30. 3715 comes to mind as it's unoccupied in the afternoons most days and is a full 10kcs below the AM group from VE Land to help alleviate the occasions interference issues when the band is just so. It's also 10kcs up from a group of AMers that often hang around 3705 +/-.

I had a nice one-on-one QSO with Karl KD3CN yesterday from 5 - 6:10 pm on 3733.
