I tried to test a 0A2 this evening. Oddly, with all the correct settings on the checker, the Merit test does not produce an upward deflection of the meter. The tube glows at the bottom of the tube. I put the tube back into the receiver I was working on and checked the regulated output...149 volts. So what is the issue with the 667 ? It appears to work on ALL other tubes I checked on it.

sounds like the series reesistor in the tube checker may have increased in value so the tube doesn't have enough energy to get a glow on.
