At the club meeting, another ham said he and his buddy where cleaning out a garage and found these, (these are photos from on line, but mine are nearly as nice)
Nicre RME receiver converter and a Tecraft VHF AM transmitter with power supply. No mic with mine, but TX has a chrystal included. I don't know what I will do with the pair. Maybe an interested party would have a swap in mind?

Hey don't complain, very nice.

On such occasions I arrive home and put it on the kitchen table and announce to the boss-
"Hey look at our new radio, good EH!!".
Dont laugh it works for me.

I still have one of those Tecraft VHF transmitters that I used extensively on 2 meters in the late sixties before repeaters and NBFM spread across the land. It gives a solid 10+ Watts of output and I also did 432 using a varactor tripler. I added a varicap diode to PM the crystal oscillator for NBFM. Still have the stuff, but it has remained cold for years. Perhaps if AM activity on 2 were to start up....
