I just got  a  BTA-1R1 and it runs just fine on the BC Freq.  Before I start bringing it up to 160 and 75 has anyone ran into any problems doing this that I should look for...Thanks...Tim...WD4TC..

Nice box! I have an R3.  To change it to 160 requires swapping out one  big mica (not sure which one).   Moving it to 80 might require same, plus modification of the main tank coil.

You may also have to do minor mods on the grid tank.
