Green beans, corn, Italian eggplant, Roma and Beefsteak tomatoes, cukes, spinach, lettuce and swiss chard. Fennel and dill. Gonna try drying instead of canning tomatoes this year.

+ some water, horse droppings, sheets of plastic and exercise.

I dry my tomatoes all the time,works great!As far as the "organic landmines" go I'd try 2hours on a pine board at 400 in the oven.A real way to suppliment a political campaign.....Lee,N2UDF

The freezer still has a hundred pounds of buffalo in it. The remnants of a half-buff I split with the neighbors.
I am so ODed on beef right now I didn't even want to think about it. 

Of course, by September I'll be using those eggplants for target practice.

Was thinking about getting a few chickens... But now there's a mountain lion hanging out, my son heard it howl and and my daughter saw it leap over a 6' fence into my neighbor's pasture last weekend. They seem to meow and not roar. I wouldn't want to get blindsided by the thing in the dark over a few chickens even carrying my .357. Even the coyotes took a vacation somewhere, now I know why. POed 200# kittys are lethal.
