Jeez. And here I thought it was a silly football game not a philosophy class.

I thought it was a football discussion, not a heckling contest.  Wink

You guys are like Statler and Waldorf in the balcony on The Muppet Show; only there's more of you, and one or two of you aren't quite so old and curmudgeonly!  Grin

While we're at it, what were you expecting out of me? Even I have some scruples, dude.

That's right, Mack, remember what Egon told us in Ghostbusters: "Don't cross the streams".

Yep, awesome game, and even though my team lost, my dad's team won.

The best news all night is that they're finally doing a movie based on the Iron Man comics!

YEAH, BABY!

I have something akin to pneumonia and can't even go downstairs to turn on the radio--I did however manage to prop myself up in a chair and watch the best Super Bowl game I can remember for a long time--I haven't watched one in 10 years. Eli Manning showed that he had the right stuff when he shook off the sack and completed THE pass. That sealed it.
GREAT GAME!!

I went to sleep after taking my evening dope load and didn't get any radio work done or watch anything.

I was high. Safer to not do radio work or watch bowl games when you are on narcotics.  Lips sealed

I had a great nap.

I have less than zero interest in this event.   I'm sure I can find something productive to do.

My sentiments exactly.  I do sometimes try to catch the halftime show.  After that was over I played radio tonight.  It's a good time to get on the air, with so many of the usual oxygen-wasters glued to the TV instead of the ricebox.

Right on!  Same with the World Series; the winner is called the "world champion".  Why don't they say U.S. champion?  No other country sends teams to participate. Didn't the Montreal team get sold and moved to somewhere in USA?  Cuba and Japan have local baseball teams that are passionately followed by fans in those countries.  Why aren't they ever invited to compete in the "World" Series?

The game was rather boring until the 4th quarter. Not enough scoring. I guess the Patriots have trouble scoring when they can't cheat.

WINNER: New York-Boston rivalry

It just gets more intense from here on out, with New York delivering its answer for the Red Sox's historic 2004 American League Championship Series victory over the Yankees after trailing 3-0. --Dan Wetzel, Yahoo Sports

Now, where to start?HuhHuh?  Grin Grin

Since I didnt see any of the "game", did they have any "wardrobe malfunctions" at halftime??  If not, the whole game prolly wasnt worth watchin.

As far as TVI goes, I was really lookin forward to pissing my neighbors off, but.................   There was absolutely no AM on yesterday evening! I think y'all mofos was watchin the game. I kept tuning the rx back and forth between 3700 and the ghetto and there was no AM to be heard!! Not even a piss weaker! Not to mention a conspicuous lack of slop bubkets as well. I got tired from turning the receiver back and forth and fell asleep at the operating position. The radio was as boring as the game!!

As far as a segregated WOP section, I'm all for it. The smell of cooking tomato sauce and roasting garlic would suit me just fine!! Gary must have gotten carried away while he was making his veal sauce yesterday!!

This one is especially for "Thom" Grin Grin One thing that you have to keep in mind is that when I was in elementary school, I was the short, fat, little wop kid that no one wanted on their team. As I grew into my mid teans, I became a huge strapping monster!! And my favorite school pastime was beating the hell out of the "jocks" and other "beautiful people". Revenge was sweet!! Grin Grin So now in my adulthood I have absolutely no use for overpaid, underinteligent "professional athleets.

And, er, furthermore......................... I can still build a world class transmitter, make world class lasagne, and do a full lock powerslide on a 500+Lb motorcycle!!
Oh, yea, and I am on the air with a real signal!!

So that is that on that! Munky maul, munky maul, munky maul.......I got it all!! Cool Grin

that was one of the best games I've watched in a long time.
It was like Montana and Rice on both teams.
Both sides played clean and the refs were good.

OH, And the Giants won.

Having played Tackle O and D, the front line makes the QB

And I won't comment because it is against the party line held here and I will be erased..
