Just got the next HPSDR module working, the Exciter-"Penny"
All mode 160 through 6 meters. Sounds great. At some point it will support EER voice modes. at 1/2 watt nobody came back to me on 3875.
Now for some gain....

This may get you there easier. Right now it is just a motherboard and three plug in boards. They can be mounted in a computer case. I just have mine bolted to a plate with three power supplies.
Penny is the reverse of a QSR1 where I/Q go through a digital up converter driving a 122 mHz DAC to make RF. HPSDR will make the RX mate soon so this will be a stand alone All mode XCVR 160 m to 6m.

Are FETs supposed to glow like that?

Same with QS1R... there'll be an upconverter soon (QS1T)...

Just that we got the RX first.... THEN the TX.
