CW is just a narrower version of AM

« on: January 06, 2008, 12:00:21 AM »

I heard Henk, PE1MPH calling CQ at 11:15 PM tonight and his signal built up. He heard me better tonight and three other stations joined in, PA3HCO, Yan north of Arnhem and F6AQK, John on the coast of France and WA1HUZ, Steve in VA. Wehad a great round table and recordings were made on both sides.

John was easily 58 with 200 Watts and Yan was 57 with a BC-610E

They are still on frequency - 3705

Give them a call!

Thanks for the nice qso in AM on 3705!

This I have heard:
F6AQK S9 +25
WU2D S2, but I could hear most from you (I sent you a recording)
WB3HUZ, max. S5, qrm from SSB
GW8TBG, max. S2
PA3HCO, max. S2
W1IA, S9 +15, never below S9
K4KYV, max. S2, I must listen in LSB mode, many SSB on freq.

Greetings,

Henk, pe1mph Wink
