me and Glo would like to wish everyone here a good new year. It's already a good year for me. I'm still here to see it come in. Hopefully I will be around to see it go out. I am working hard to get back on the air with a bulletproof maul asap, but being slowed by my drugs, naps, very short daylight hours, and slow shipments of stuff due to the holidays. I wanted to be on by now, ( without multiple JS's) and I'm getting there, it's just taking longer than I thought it would.

I think the wait will be worth it. I'm betting the Gonset will be good for a 225+ watt carrier with 200% modulation at 600++ watts input. I'm really enjoying preparing it for long term service with the 572B's. It's been a great project to bring myself back to the world of working on radios again.

See you at the hamfests this year. After I get another FT-101 and another Gonset, I'm gonna be buying stuff to make a new black crackle home-brew rig!

And a very Happy New Year to you too Derb.
"Best to you" in 2008; boy, that year sounds right out of sci-fi.

um, rough night last night; sure didn't get on the air.
Now where did I put the Alka Seltzer? Been so long don't even remember.

Happy New Year, ya buncha old farts!  Grin

I hope nobody else is as hung over as I am. I didn't think I had that much to drink last night, but my head is telling a very different story.  Tongue

Oh well, at least I'm not doing the Lips sealed routine.

Happy 2008, all!
