This article on a Switchable Direction EWE Antenna entitled "More EWEs for You"  was pointed out to me today.  It was written by Floyd A. Koontz, WA2WVL, first published in QST (ARRL), January 1996.  Floyd is a regular contributor at the Class E Forum.

The link is to the OK1RR DX and Contest page:

"You’ve seen the basic EWE, now you can have switchable, directional EWEs!"
