I saw this on the CCA website.  A very important cog in the history of Collins and amateur radio. Excuse me if this had been brought up already. I took a quick look before I began to write this.

I thought maybe the CCA would like to know about this.

Ed Andrade, W0DAN, passed away Friday Aug. 24, 2007 in Florida.

Ed was the chief architect and designer of the Collins R-390, 51J-4, 51S-1, and KWM-2 radios. He had been retired from Collins for a number of years and lived in Satellite Beach, Florida.

Please visit the Notice for Edward Andrade.
