Pennsylvanian shaking hands with Yankee

« on: August 21, 2007, 07:26:28 AM »

When one loses a loved one it is customary to notify all one's friends.  I would be remiss if I didn't notify all my friends here on this bulletin board.

My sweetheart, my best friend, the mother of my beautiful daughters, and the grandmother of my wonderful grandchildren -- my wife Karen -- died yesterday morning (August 20, 2007) on the eve of her 65th birthday.  She suffered from restrictive cardiomyopathy--a severe form of congestive heart failure.  I will miss her so much!

Here she is seated with our daughter Julie and our daughter Katie, holding our grand daughter Sydney, on May 27, 2007.  These are my four girls.  I shall be so lost without my main girl.

Herb

Hello Herb, Sorry to hear about your wife Karen. She was also through you, a part of a storybook here on 75 meters. She will be a sad page in the book with her passing. I'm sure while this is difficult for you, your daughters and grandchildren will provide happy days ahead for you.

Hello Herb,,

Some say this is a time to mourn. But some say this is a time to be happy. Your beloved friend, lover, comforter and wife is gone but she is in a better place. No more suffering just happiness. Your family has our prayers that the Father will comfort you in your time of sorrow.

I hear of this news with deep regret.

We have been hearing this kind of news too much lately.
