OK OK, I have to toot my own horn...

I have an article on WRNO Worldwide in Monitoring Times magazine this month. They are trying to return to the air as a religous station after many years of silence.

I read your article and enjoyed it.  Thanks for that legwork.

In 1987-88 I was working in a construction trailer in central New Jersey in the evenings.   Someone had a multiband portable receiver in the office, but I could receive neither New York City nor Philadelphia stations there.  WRNO on 7355 blasted in just fine after dark though even though the antenna was inside that all-metal trailer.   

1970s classic album was and remains what I listen to.   Having never been to NOLA, I thought hearing the commercials was kinda neat.  Visitors to my office were often caught off-guard by those local New Orleans commercials.

I don't know if the world needs another religious outlet on SWBC, but I wish them the best just the same.

They used to be a cool station. I was very disapointed when they went dark. they used to STRAP into Baltimore. So did that other SW rock station, IIRC it was KUSW or something like that out of Utah.
It was nice to hear some rock music on SW, especially coming from this country.

Maybe they'll blast some Christian rock music into the ether?  Let's hope so!
