6 & 10m are both open as I write this, to 4 & 5-land.  I heard an N4 out of TN calling CQ on AM, on 29.000 MHz.  I tried calling him before I had the antenna system matched up, but no luck. I called CQ on 29.020 MHz for 10 minutes or so with no luck.  6 is also open.  Signals are better on 10.  I will call CQ on either 29.020, or 50.400.  If somebody wants a QSO on either freq., let me know.

Guess what?  As I was writing this, I heard a CQ on 50.400. I answered it, and jsut had my first ever 6m AM QSO, with Bobby, KF4ZYO, in Greenwood< SC, EM84.  SIganls weren't very stable.  He went from S7 to noting on less than 10 seconds, but I was able to get his info.

73 & hope to QSO with some of you tonight,

6 is kind of up and down. I had a nice little chat with Johnny, KE4MYW (EM85 in, NC) on 50.400 a half hour ago.  I'm still hearing stuff down between 50.125 & 50.200.  I even heard a WB2 calling CQ for MS (must need it for 6m WAS).  So, 6 is still open as of 5 minutes ago, here.
