I am not thinking of Edlies on Hemstead Turnpike.

I had dumped my high school equipment when I went off to school and had lost interest in HF and was primarily doing 2 and 432 AM/NBFM in the days before repeaters. Hind sight is 20/20 and I should have kept the stuff. I had this HF CW transmitter that was 6146 unit but built for mobile use as it was quite compact. It covered 160 to 10 including 11 which placed the build window between 1956 and 1959. it even had a sliderule dial VFO. I had built a 50 W mod using a pair of 807's in an old PA chassis. Was a great and stable rig. WOndered what ever happent to it but figured it is at the bottom of some landfill by now. Never did identify who built it, but is was built extreamly well.
