I want to try an 813 in my PDM v2 because I seem to take out 6146s every 5 years or so while the 6DQ5s in the modulator are good as new since '83. I might have to replace the driver with a bigger tube like a 5763 to get the monkey swing on the grid. AMfone - Dedicated to Amplitude Modulation on the Amateur Radio Bands
