Title: 160 Meters
Post by: W7IXZ on November 15, 2006, 07:09:07 PM
I keep reading about the East Coast guys not hearing anyone past about 9 PM EST.  The group in the Pacific Northwest get on 1945 around 7 PM and go until 9 PM or so PST.  I have listened and called after 9 PM PST and usually I don't hear any AM except once in a while the California group around 1925.  There are quite a few BC transmitters running on 160 so I would think there would be a chance of some QSO's in the later part of the evening for Midwest and East coast stations.  I will keep looking!!!

Heard some AM activity on 1915 last night around midnight eastern. Static was pretty loud, but I thought I heard some 7 calls.
