Title: Wind it Up Old Man!
Post by: n3lrx on October 28, 2006, 11:23:18 PM
Anyone got any idea how to calculate how much enamel and teflon wire I need by estimating from the number of turns?
I ain't no good when it comes to numbers.. So Hopefully theres a safe way to estimate without having to add up Einsteins theory of relativity.
I've got 90% of the parts ordered for my K7DYY Jr. rig pending shipment, I'd prefer not to buy too much wire, or not enough and have to order more!
If anyone's built one before and has an idea how much wire was needed for completion it would be nice.. :)

If anyone's got some #16,#20,#22,#24 enamel and some #16,#22 Teflon I'd be willing to buy some for the project..

TNX OM's!
