Title: WHAT IS CONSIDERED A DRIVER TOOB-VIKER2

..HI FROM TIM...OUTTA TOWN,SO DONT HAVE THE INFO WITH ME...WHAT IS CONSIDERED THE DRIVER TOOB IN THE VIKING2?...MY VIKER IS LOSING POWER,THE LONGER I TRANSMIT...FINALS ARE FB,SO I'M THINKING THE DRIVER...ANY THOUGHTS?...TIM...SK..

While you're at it, check on another common problem with
the vikers (as well as valiant and ranger):  The "drive pot"
that adjusts the screen voltage on the driver toob to
set the grid drive to the final, often fails due to the fact
that it is under rated for the power it must dissipate. 

Sometimes before they actually fail, they can get
mushy/flaky and  cause a loss of grid drive.  A good way
to prevent the failure is to put a 10K resistor in series
with the drive pot.

..OK..IF IT IS THE DRIVE POT,(I'VE HERD ABT THIS FER THE DX100),AND IT IS BAD,WHAT VALUE OF RESISTANCE,AND WATTAGE WOULD YOU REPLACE IT WITH?...TIM...SK...
