Title: Phone Band Expansion & Code Requirement Actions Still Hazy At FCC

Before it releases an R&O on the Morse code proceeding, however, the FCC Wireless Telecommunications Bureau (WTB) wants to wrap up action in another Amateur Radio-related docket--the "Phone Band Expansion" (or "Omnibus") NPRM in WT Docket 04-140, released last April 15.

Great title for the thread Pete.  I am almost sure the FCC is hazy!  Do they even know what Amateur Radio is?

The fog is not at the FCC -- it's around the Newington area where fragmented, conflicting, and insufficient proposals keep flying up the flue.
