Hi Dave,

  Are they still around? Last couple of years I haven't heard anything on that freq when I'm in Static Island visiting my mom.

Nope. I have not heard any AM there in 10 years. Maybe they all moved to another freq.

My tower is on vacation. No 2 metre antenna. Tower will be going back up soon. 2M ant. to follow......
