Title: Alaska Volcano Web Cam
Post by: KA8WTK on January 13, 2006, 06:24:01 PM
Mt. Augustine in Alaska web cam. There she blows! The bottom of the page says the page is up-dating every 30 minutes, but right now it is going a lot faster.

Lets see, it's 8:58 PM eastern. All I can see is a black screen. Don't they have six months of daylight now?

For you Google Earth fans, here's the coordinates:

59°21'41.35"N    153°25'52.17"W

You can cut and paste that into the search window.

I've been watching this Volcano ever day and here is what I see. Black screen, Fog, More fog. Haze bottom of mountain, side of mountain, black screen. No mammals, people or big foot. Not even a UFO. Someone needs to go up there and shake that place up a bit. It may be legal to moon us from up there!!!

If my son, who works in volcano hazards at the USGS, gets a chance to go up there I ask him to wave at you.

Best shot right now. Sun Shine on the mountain and steam coming out of the volcano.
