Title: APACHE SETTINGS..

..HI FROM TIM...GOT WERKING ON MY APACHE TODAY,LIGHT BULB IS BRIGHT,ETC..ASIDE FROM THE INFO FROM THE MANUAL,WHAT ARE THE APPROX SETTINGS FER 40,AND 75 METRES? I MEAN,INTO A DUMMY LOAD,LOADING,DRIVER AND FINAL SETTINGS.I'M NOT REFERING TO THE METER READINGS,BUT THE FRONT PANEL MARKINGS I BASICALLY WANT TO GET CLOSE,THEN I WILL HAVE TO DEAL WITH THE BIAS..I HAVE TO REPLACE THE POTS,DUE TO PREVIOUS OWNER BREAKING THE SLOT ON THE SHAFT OF BOTH THE BIAS,AND MICROPHONE CONTROL BEHIND THE CW JACK...TNX...SK..

Jusst worked these two guys this afternoon on 40m.
Both are good email addresses on QRZ.com.

Do you use some sort of gate or expander when you record? Everytime the guy stops talking I hear something cutting off the background noise (like a gate)
