60 seconds per dot rate for CW.  Man, and I thought 5wpm was slow.

  Yes, a 60 second dot is equivalent to .02 wpm!  You don't receive by ear, you feed the receive audio into your computer soundcard. With appropriate software you look at a waterfall display and the cw appears graphically. 
   Below is my reception in Massachusetts  of Laurie Mayhead G3AQC in the U.K. this past February.  Laurie is sending "AQC" .-  --.-  -.-.  between  135.921 and 135.922 (frequency scale on the right  border of display).
