Post by: KL7OF on October 11, 2005, 09:18:45 AM
I have been looking at information on FTA and was wondering if anyone on the AM forum has experience with it...The foreign country station programming has some appeal ..I have an unused 9ft TVRO K/Cu dish here.. I would like to talk with someone that has a working setup....KL7OF in Tum Tum

Hi,
I've got one here in Falmouth,ME. Lots of foriegn stuff on Ku. Lyngsat shows more english stuff on C-band, All I have is a 0.75m dish, so no c-band. Many choices for receivers, I would look at SGAFTA.com or e-bay for hardware. Not too expensive compared to what I paid for c-band gear 20 years ago. Drop me a note if you'd like answers to specific questions. elowell@maine.rr.com The BUD will work fine for it.
