Title: Replacing melted and scratched up plastic meter covers Post by: KR4WI on September 28, 2005, 10:30:24 PM Hello to All; I have been replacing the plastic meter covers on some rx/tx of mine, tought I would share this with the group, I took the plastic cover out of meter casing and traced the outline of it on a CD case holder, heated my knife blade with butane torch, and gently traced the outline with the hot blade, it worked very well, and they turned out nice, looks like new covers.
