Title: How about an Equipment Review section Post by: W8EJO on September 22, 2005, 06:02:49 PM How about an Equipment Review section - devoted to boatanchor to AM gear (similar to that at the E-Ham site). AMfone - Dedicated to Amplitude Modulation on the Amateur Radio Bands
It could be divided into Transmitter, Receiver,Amplifier and Accessory sections. That way we could all chime in with our opinions (educated & otherwise) on what's good & whats junk. It would be a permanent record of the groups opinions on various pieces of AM gear. It would be invaluable addition, particularly to AM newbies who are trying to decide which old rigs are worthy of their hard earned dollars. |
