Part of the relief effort from the hurricane and flood stricken areas is to re-establish communications to these areas. As a resultdonations of  equipment, i.e. computers, routers, switches, servers, etc. are needed.  If you have old or decomissioned equipment at your home, job or office you might consider donating it to the relief effort. In addition if you have compute, communications, IT skills your help is needed. Programmers, networking engineeres, technicians, radio people , gearheads, etc. take notice.
