Title: Resizing Avatars
Post by: W2INR on September 04, 2005, 07:23:22 AM
Good Morning.

Many have asked about the slider under thier avatars. The new size limitation for the new board is 75 wide and 100 high. Anything over that was resized by HTML, thus the slider would show.

We are now trying another option offered thru this program . There is a resizing program built in. I have activated it. This will resize your avata rif over the dimensions before the upload is complete. We will give this a try to see how this works.

So all you should have to do now is remove your avatar and then "re-upload" the avatar and the program should fix it for you. If not you should resize it to no more than 100 high by 70 wide.

This will help with bandwidth issues for slower connections making the download quicker as weel as removing the slider..

ALSO  - - PLEASE REMEMBER TOO CLEAR THE CACHE AND YOUR COOKIES FOR THIS SITE!

There have so many changes made from the original fire up of the new site. Since there are user settings to remember the cookies handle most of that as well as security measures. We have been adjusting and working on the site daily and in order to use the full features and new additions you should refresh the cache and cookies.
